Before joining the dedicated legal team at Westover Law Group, Rory S. Coetzee graduated from Trinity Law School in 2008 and earned his license to practice law in the state of California. During Mr. Coetzee’s time at school, he joined in the school’s Moot Court program and was even awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and the prestigious Amjur Award, recognizing his academic excellence in the area of Criminal Procedure. It was during those years where Mr. Coetzee spent two years doing work as a Judicial Law Clerk for Orange County Superior Court and completed an externship with the Orange County’s District Attorney’s office.
Mr. Coetzee is originally from South Africa and immigrated to the United States in 1998. After coming to the states, he enrolled to attend Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth Texas. It was there where he graduated with Cum Laude honors and received a Bachelor of Science Degree with an emphasis in Political Science and Paralegal Studies.
Mr. Coetzee spent five years honing his legal skills as a senior associate at The Law Firm of J. Hector Moreno, Jr. & Associates, where he spent a majority of his time focusing on high-conflict family law litigation. This experience allowed him to familiarize himself with handling even the most complex issues in the family law arena. As an attorney at Westover Law Group, Mr. Coetzee handles a wide range of family law and divorce matters – clients can trust that their case is in good hands with him on their side. He has represented individuals in a variety of legal disputes and has always dedicated 100% of his efforts to ensure that clients are treated with compassion.
